Love this target. I come here often and every employee has been kind to me. Today the management staff handled an altercation very well. Thank you guys!

1. We paid for the Poland Spring Water $4.79. On the display, this 24 pk water was on sale at about half price. The cashier did not bother to apply the discount when we checked out.
2. On the receipt, three toys have the "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" notification. The cashier did not mention that we should pick a free game/toy. Target seems to thrive on customers who won't pay attention to discounts.
3. We tried to include a $100 gift card as payment. The cashier had no clue how to cash in our gift card. At first she told us that we need to have a plastic card (even though all the info she needed was on the paper printed gift card). Then, when I asked her to try and punch in the card number (which she did), she needed an "activation number". We went home and checked online, the card is activated. Using the $100 gift card yesterday at Target shouldn't have been an issue. This is not the first time I used used a printed out gift card at Target (or other stores). The cashier didn't bother to call a manager to help her with the gift card.
All in all, our shopping experience at Target was disappointing. Discounts were not applied to the transaction, and the gift card was useless. Will never step foot into a Target, just like we never shop at Best Buy and other sleazy stores.
