    Amerigas installed a gas tank, ran gas lines and hooked up my gas stove for me 2.5 years ago. Ever since then I smelled gas in my home often. I thought that it was because one of our stoves burner tops went missing in the move. Two weeks ago the whole house smelled like gas so I turned my gas off and bought a new stove from Home Depot. The following Saturday Home Depot came to deliver and install my new stove. When they pulled my old stove out they informed me that the installation was done so poorly and so dangerously that they could not install my new stove until the lines were fixed. I turned the gas back on and immediately smelled gas coming from the poorly installed lines so I turned it off again. I called Amerigas. The tech came out and agreed that the lines were installed poorly until I told him that they installed it only 2.5 years ago. He began to back pedal, fixed the leak and said that if we wanted the lines fixed, wed have to pay. Ive since had an inspector come and tell me that the situation is very dangerous and that the poorly installed lines likely leaked a small amount of gas into my home for the last 2.5 years. I have two small children, pets, my husband is active duty and deployed in the Middle East, he can not fix the lines for me. He was gone when the lines were installed. Amerigas took advantage of the fact that I would have no idea what the lines should look like. Every time that I call them they said that a technician or supervisor will call me back. Its been two weeks. No one has called me. Every time I call I get the run around. I am absolutely livid that this company put my family at risk for over two years and they dont have the professionalism to call me back.

    The absolute worst gas company I have ever encountered. We are on auto-delivery and they did not deliver my gas 3 months in a row leading us to run out of gas. When we called for emergency service they said 24hrs, but did not come for over 7 days every single time. Meaning, we were without gas for a week every month for the last 3 months despite calling multiple times per days, speaking to a different person every time.Then they charge me for the FILL!!!! If you can go with a local company, DO IT. They are the worst.

    This is the worst company to deal with in Charleston, SC. Please do yourself a favor and call a different company. Please this is the worst service I have ever experienced in my whole life!!!

    Everyone has always been very helpful and courteous. Delivery men and when phoning to place the order. It was a bit difficult last year due to Covid but this year it is back to actually having staff back and smooth ordering and timely delivery!
