image Does beautiful, professional work. They even prepped my old flooring underneath to make sure it was even, so my new flooring would install correctly and have the best outcome. They came over on pretty short notice too. I definitely recommend them and will use their services again. I tried posting pictures but it won't let me

image Seemed very professional on phone. I was agreeable to price (which was a bit higher than competition), time for work to be complete, and install ended up looking fine.
I had carpet and pad purchased and precut, and tackstrip purchased to do job. They said, "we provide all tackstrip, and pickup carpet ourself, so its already figured in price, so just take tackstrip back for a refund". Therefore, i let them pick up carpet, and assumed they would use their tackstrip, as stated by estimator.
I work out of town, long hours, so work was done promptly, and i had given my cell#, property address, and my mailing address for billing.
2 days after install i was back in town, inspected work, and noticed my 100 pc box of tackstrip was opend with only 3 pcs missing(?!!!!?), and no cleanup had been done, other than carpet extras/ends were rolled up out of the way. I was gone another 4 or 5 days. No bill showed up at my billing address, so stopped at house, and all looked the same,,,,small scraps not picked up, not been vacuumed, box of tacksteip still setting out,,,,,,,with only 3 peices used!.....really?
Gave it a few more days, still no bill. I called and spoke to a female who said, "oh, we dont have your billing address. I stated that all detailed info was given to the estimater who called me and set up install schedule, and asked all pertinent questions.
She apologized and said youll have it in a few days. I told her i assumed they werent done, since they never did their cleanup. She said, oh, i dont know about that let me have larry call you. Never heard from Larry, so called eatimator back(no answer, so left v mail measage), and said id like you to look at another property i need done soon, and when are you guys going to go back and finish cleanup. never heard from any of the 3 again, until i received v mail from lady at office at end of month saying i need to pay so late fee doesnt accrue, and bill was sent 2 wks ago.
I called and explained that no bill was received, and still no cleanup. She said well i sent to ### ......... address. I said that is property address, i gave estimator both addresses, and , again,,,,this is my bill address. Next day she called me and said, "hi this is Larrys installations, and we just received a statememt back on a job we did for you, and need to know the right address. I reminded her that i Just spoke w her "yeaterday", and this was already dealt with. She apologized again, and said "your right , thats why this was returned".
OK, now this is getting RIDICULOUS.
Ive owned rentals, and been flipping fixers for 21 years (they were aware of that), and NEVER ONCE, out of over 40 flooring jobs have i ever had an installer NOT CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES.
Again, at this point, the install was done well.
BUT the professionalism, followup, and opportunity for further business has been absolutely unacceptable.
I made multie attempts to allow them to clean up, (maybe a 10 min job), offered them more work (due to timely, and nice install), and never delayed to pay my agreed upon price,,,,,,,,ONCE I actually received the bill.
Please dont waste your time with these guys. I am really easy to work with, made this a quick and easy job for them to bang out with a very flexible schedule, and they couldnt keep it together.
They are small company, and i wish they would have stepped up to the plate and been reputable and profesaional. I was a real estate broker for 17 years, worked with a lot of investment buyer, and know a lot of other landlords, and sure could have sent them a lot of business. Having owned a few small businesses of my own, i understand the value of referal business.
With the fact that i gave them opportunities to correct, and make right, and they didnt even attempt, just disappeared, i recommend you shop elsewhere.
By the way....
The 3 nstallers i have used over the years did get called,,,,but:
1 retired due to surgery
1 moved out of area, a looooong ways
1 is always swamped, and works out of state a lot, so locals get left behind.
