I would give ZERO stars if allowed! We were at the new Murfreesboro location recently and purchased 55 boxes of outdoor tile all of which we were told by Jeff (possibly manager) was in stock in their back warehouse. Prior to charging our credit card we asked about the return policy and Jeff said "You have 30 days to return for a refund." We then learned Stover's couldn't get to their inventory in warehouse because it was blocked by other inventory. We took 30 of the 55 boxes of their display tile and was told they would call when the remainder 25 boxes were available. After waiting and no call we made the 50 mile drive back to check on inventory. Jeff acted like he didn't know anything about our purchase. Another employee remembered us and said the tile was in their back warehouse. We proceeded to inform Jeff that of the 25 boxes remaining, we only needed 8 and to refund the 17. Jeff said "no refunds only exchanges." We kindly reminded him we were never in possession and therefore not an exchange and the fact he personally told us we could be refunded. From other Employees we learned this is a common occurrence with Jeff and he does this to customers often. My review or complaint is not about the actual store Stover's but rather Jeff, a very dishonest and misleading employee. Prior to leaving the store he actually had the audacity to say "Yes, I said you could have a refund but I didn't say it would be your money back. You get a refund with a store credit because I'm treating this as an exchange even if you never had it. I determine Company policy." Terrible representation for a company.
