Great family owned restaurant. Amazing soul food- very delicious. Reminds me of mother’s cooking. I would definitely recommend. I mainly do take out, but I hear they do cater. I’ve been 3 times in the last week and plan to order more. The food is great and the service is excellent as well. I appreciate home-like restaurants- and these folks treat you well, like family. Friendly smiles and conversation while you wait for your freshly cooked meal. I haven’t been disappointed and Sally’s Famous Kitchen is definitely worth my business. Check it for yourself. I’m confident you will enjoy your experience!! I did.

Unfortunately the food was delicious. Odd to say, I know. My review is regarding the horribly DISGUSTING service. When I said the sweet potatoes didn't look like sweet potatoes, I was yelled at, cussed at, called a dumb b*tch. The guy that works there, kind of tall, gold teeth, beard, literally came at me hands and arms flailing like a mad person. When I decided that no confrontation was the best decision, I proceeded to grab the food he told me to keep and that he'd still give me a refund (let's hope he follows through). As I'm walking out the door he is following still causing a scene and proceeds to tell me he hopes I get hit by a train and die. Never ONCE did I insult him. I still can't believe it. I WILL never be back. I was so excited to find a little neighborhood hole in the wall too. Being a business owner myself, that is NOT how you treat your customers. Meanwhile the other employee just stood there watching. He did mention that everything was on camera so I really hope it is so the owners can review the footage.
