Dr. Hudson is a wonderful, caring doctor. I had LASIK surgery and now I can see perfectly. She is super friendly and basically always on call. I accidentally poked myself in the eye in my sleep. I called her the very next morning because I was paranoid that I may have hurt it. She saw me within an hour! She is very caring with her patients and an extremely knowledgeable doctor. I have had poor vision my entire life due to astigmatisms. Over the past five to seven years, my vision had worsen to the point a corrective lens for my right eye did not correct my vision to a point that I could see with any clarity. Uncorrected vision with my right eye was so poor that I could not see the first big letter that started on the chart.
During my initial appointment with Dr. Hudson and her staff, it was discovered that I had a bad cataract in my right eye and another cataract in my left eye. Dr. Hudson took the time to explain the options to correct my issues. After several measurements for correction, Dr. Hudson believed we would be able to surgically correct my left eye to 20/30 and 20/40 for my right.
I decided to correct both of my eyes for distance due to the fact while using contact lenses set for one eye for reading and one eye for distance caused headaches. Since I have worn corrective lenses since I was four, wearing a pair of readers was not an issue.
After the surgeries, I am very happy to say that I am able to see 20/20 with each eye separately and able to see some of the characters on the 20/15 line with both eyes at the same time. This surprised Dr. Hudson's team that my vision corrected that well.
In hindsight, I wish that I would have done this sooner if I had known that I could have this vision several years ago. Thank you Dr. Hudson and staff for all that you have done. My husband was amazed at how down to earth the staff was, very friendly and everyone seemed to take their time and really understand what was going on with him Dr.Hudson was great . All the staff was takeing extra precautions wearing mask and hand sanitizer available, and cleaning surfaces often.
