Cookeville Pediatrics Associates

The actual medical staff seem fine, and the facility is nice. The problem is when you go to pay sometimes they dont play well with certain insurances. So instead of working it out with your insurance, and settling for a copay they try to tell people they have huge balance that they have to pay upfront on the spot. Its annoying, embarrassing, and kinda shady. Ive heard of it happening to multiple people now including myself.

We usually have a positive experience but on our last visit Dr. Franklin told us we were lying when we told him that our son is in speech/physical therapy. I guess TEIS did not send over the paperwork to be put into his chart. I've heard very good things about Dr. Franklin so I am not quite sure what to make of this.

Dont come here unless you want to be given the wrong info continuously. The doctors do not listen what you have to say. Very rushy, in and out. Was suppose to get a referral for our son to see a specialist. Was told the specialist would call us to set up appointment. 1 week went by nothing called to check to see what was going on. Was told oh well its been submitted they should call you. 2 weeks go by call again. They said oh well once we submit everything in you need to call them and set up an appointment. They hadnt even did their part after 2 weeks? Keep in mind my kid is in major pain. This place is the worst wouldnt recommend to anyone. We will be taking both kids elsewhere. This is 1 issue out of about 6. No communication nothing. Rude staff. Had another referral situation with my daughter same situation but different specialist. They wanna give you attitude when you try to explain what you were told by them to figure out what the hell is going on.
