Came and signed a contract last year. Made a deposit of 34,000 dollars. Was a no show, made excuses, and left my Home destroyed. Will not return calls, will not refund money. Noticed he’s driving a new Ford Bronco and going on vacations. Glad I paid for those. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! THIEF

Vertex construction has left my property completely exposed for 7months.-many problems with communication, FINANCES!!!, completion and follow through. -DO NOT recommend.…. This is with MUCH grace for covid. Material on property with refusal to work.

Terrible experience. Not responsive. Promises timelines and never keeps them. Would not recommend! Worst contractor experience ever….

michael burton took over $40,000.00 of ours. did maybe 5% of the contracted work, left our home exposed to the elements, missed 2 complete deadlines. i sent all our belongings across the country to having no place to live. sadly after investigating, i find he has done this to at least 4 others in the area. also after investigating, he is not licensed, bonded, or insured. i have given him opportunity after opportunity since this all started in december 2021 to make this right, do the work or return my money, nothing... 2 minute phone calls or text saying he will be right back in touch. that never happens. the only thing he has been consistent with is disappointing me. now i am sure he is gonna shut this business down, probably declare bankruptcy, and start a new business to scam his neighbors. watch out for tennessee roofing & waterproofing or any company in his wifes name, as he told me she is fixin to get a licence... kendra burton. i hate to bad mouth people and i will gladly take this down and apologize if this is all a misunderstanding, however that is impossible with the many chances i have given him. whats funny on the more than 1 star reviews here are his family and friends. i see him, his wife, his father in law... its all lies.
