I hate to have to post this review, but this is a PSA for anyone considering Southern Asphalt Paving. It's a scam. They agreed to a job at my home and made all sorts of promises that water would grade a certain way (away from the home) and offered to do the job at a very low rate. Long story short, they not only did a horrible job paving (cracks, uneven surface, and lots of low spots that create pools every time it rains), but the lowest point in the entire driveway/parking pad is now at my backdoor and water enters the home every time it rains. In my house! Every single time. I tried to reason with the company to fix their work, as they guaranteed "no water would enter the home or flow towards the home." But they would keep responding telling me they would be out next week (on and on continuously), had death in the family, were out of state, etc etc. While telling me all this, I saw them doing other jobs in my area!! So completely lying and simply unwilling to refund me or fix the job. I reasoned with them for several months before posting this. But it is important that you stay far away and DO NOT use this company! I'm now out $4,200 and have to pay another company to come tear it out and start over. I am very satisfied with my new Paved Driveway . It looks great . Very reasonable price The owner explained and drew me up a contract on exactly what was going to be done. They were very hard working and had my driveway Finnish in a timely Manor . I would recommend southern Asphalt paving.
