La Hacienda RV Resort and Cottages

This is an RV Park with cottages, not a hotel. They have a great dog park and dog wash station, something that we find very helpful! Nice pool and pool area, very clean, well maintained laundry room and showers. Employees are VERY nice and helpful! We'll be staying again this summer for our wedding, so we'll also be renting the clubhouse for a dinner. Friends and relatives will be staying here for the wedding. That's how highly I rate this place.

We love this park! Of all the places we've stayed on our road trips, Sun Outdoors Lake Travis (La Hacienda) is one of our favorites. It is very clean and their amenities are great! Beside the very large dog area is a nice covered dog bath! Two pools plus a hot tub, spacious laundry room, very nice showers, and large clubhouse. They have tiny home cottages, too, but I've never seen the inside of them. Plenty to do here! Nearby activities: Several decent restaurants nearby and about a 4 minute drive to the Emerald Point Marina. Walkability: Not very walkable. Little to no shoulder. Still, we've walked it, so it's possible.

This place looks nice and has nice people but its one of the worst places for delivery drivers. Theres no public map, nothing is in order, the street signs are built in such a way that you have to drive on the left side of the road just to read what units are on what street, and not to mention that many of the street signs are obscured by brush or other vegetation. This place is poorly managed and I hate delivering here. The people who live here know. I talk to each one I deliver to and they all say the place is so unorganized and the visibility sucks, especially at night. The landowners/groundskeeping could do a better job to make it easier for delivery drivers to find where they are going. And a publicly accessible map would be super nice, outside, not inside. I just dont think ownership gives a hoot, because nothing has changed since 2010. Its been the same terrible place to deliver to.

Beautiful RV park, we worked on a few trailers here and it is one of the nicer parks in the area.

We had a great stay at Sun Outdoors Lake Travis. The staff is all around great! Small park but great and at a great location. Highly recommend when in the area.
