Mrs. Lorrie Pierce is amazing! I have always wanted to take a shot at bellydancing but was unsure as to who or where to go for lessons. Mrs. Lorrie offers beginner bellydancing classes. She helped me learn the fundamentals of bellydancing and at the end of the course I was able to perform routines in a bellydance recital at the Aurora Arts Theater. The classes are fun, exciting, and the learning environment is comfortable and nonjudgemental. Thank you Mrs. Pierce :)

Lorrie was my first instructor and the absolute best in my opinion. I always tell people who are interested in learning how to bellydance to go to her. Lorrie is very patient and kind, always encouraging and helpful. Her choreography is amazing. Her yearly recitals are beautiful. Everyone walks away feeling that they've accomplished something and they will feel good about themselves. Most of all, they will feel as beautiful as the dance they have performed. Lorrie is the epitome of being a gracious lady, a good friend, and a beautiful dancer.

I had never been able to move my hips or dance to any tune, but since I started to take dancing lessons I'm not afraid to get up and dance anywhere. My self confidence has increased so much that now, I don't mind wearing two piece bathing suit. At time of recitals, it's exciting, crazy, and a lot of practicing; every body in the class helps to fine tune the performance. It's great!

This is a great studio. Classes for all levels taught by a patient, upbeat instructor who is a beautiful dancer. The space is lovely and the other students are very welcoming and supportive. You'll feel at home right away. With dance troops for several different levels of students, you'll have plenty of opportunities to perform if you like. There are a lot of places to take bellydance lessons in Corpus Christi. This is one of the best!
