Dallas Hyundai, Inc.

My first purchase at this dealership in 2011 was smooth and the entire process was great. I gave them 5 stars. I just updated my review of a North Dallas dealership and was surprised I didn't regrade this one after a return visit last year. Last year they lost my business forever. The brand is still making really good improvements, but this particular dealership has turned into a hot box sales floor like too many others have.

I was shopping for a new 2013 Sonata and emailed 6 different DFW area Hyundai dealers to get their best price. Luis with South Dallas Hyundai came back with the lowest price and it was his best price the first time, no back and forth. The other dealers kept coming down, but they still couldn't beat South Dallas' price. I figured that South Dallas must be running some kind of gimic or hiding the price somewhere else, but when I got out there and had the numbers on paper, they matched exactly what I was told over the phone/email. South Dallas doesn't do any forced dealer add-ons like pin-striping or "paint protectant" like some of the other dealers. They just sell you the car you want at a fair price. I would highly recommend them and will go back to them, even though I drove past 3 other Hyundai dealers to get to them.

I was driving through Dallas on I-35 early last year on my way home (Denver) and had a blow out. I called roadside assistance and Hyundai had my car towed to this dealership. Though I arrived about 30 minutes after their service department had closed, the sales manager called a technician who returned to the store, reopened the service department and replaced my tire. I paid for a full size tire, as I didn't want to drive 60 mph all the way back to Denver, and they had to take one off a new car. It surprised me they would do this, but they didn't have my tire in stock and, obviously, I was hoping not to have to spend the night in Dallas waiting on a tire. Though I don't live in Dallas (or drive a Hyundai any longer), I highly recommend this dealership given the great service I received.

I stopped by this dealership just to get an idea of various car prices and models. I was met in the lot by Joe Acosta. I gave him a brief description of what I was looking for in a car and he IMMEDIATELY was able to find one that matched my exact needs. I wasn't planning to purchase a car that day and was only going in to look. But after working with Joe, I was very pleased with his knowledge and customer service and walked away with the perfect car. I referred a friend to him, and again Joe was very helpful. My friend was very pleased and purchased a car from him as well. Thank you Joe. I will continue to refer everyone I know to you.

I must say that I have conducted a lot of research at multiple dealers over the past several months and everywhere that I have been from CA to Texas has been quite difficult to deal with. Luis Arteaga, the sales representative, that I dealth with did not strong arm me into negotiations; he made me feel quite comfortable; he was sincere, genuine and a pleasure to work with. I must note that the staff was attentive and made my experience a great one. Moreover, I must note that the atmosphere is extremely friendly and this is a dealership that is family owned and one that I would come to repeatedly to purchase a Hyundai or any car for that matter - you are not only buying a car you are also buying a piece of the dealership...they won me over if you couldn't tell.
