Don Tinius Insurance

I have worked with Don Tinius for over three years he is such a great Agent. I own my own business and many times has looked for a policy for me high and low! He responds to me quickly and with professionalism.

I used the the Don Tinius Agency for a couple of years until recently. Don seamed great; we spoke many times over the phone and even by his personal cell phone. In November, Don's company failed to charge my card that is SAVED ON FILE for auto draft every month. No one can explain to me why they did not charge my card. My bank has no reason and Don's company have no reason. The card was not expired, the account was not over drafted, and the card was not locked. No one from the company called to tell me that my payment wasn't made. Not a single call or voicemail. After 30 days, my insurance was cancelled. They said they emailed me the cancellation notice, but I never saw it. They have my personal cell phone and could have called me, but they didn't. Don had me set-up to be insured through SafeCo. Once this lapse in payment happened, at no fault of my own, Don informed me that my monthly rates would MORE THAN DOUBLE. Luckily, I was able to find another broker that was able to get insurance through Progressive at a lower rate than my original insurance was with SafeCo, but wow was it a major headache. Don had promised me a quote from Progressive, but all of a sudden he stopped answering my calls, and never replied to any voicemails or emails. He just dropped off of the face of the earth. Keep in mind, I have perfect prior payment history, perfect credit, and a perfect driving record. This is how Don and his company treat people.
