Yesterday, I had a wonderful experience that shows the quality of the business and the dedication of the owner. I was late in arriving. The owner had ended his day and had locked his door. He saw me and said he would gladly open, put heels on my boots and shine them and bring them to me in the car if I could wait. I was delighted. In 25 minutes, I had my boots that look like new! That is service! That is dedication! I will never go anywhere else!

I had some brand new heels, one of which had been chewed by my dog. The suede heel and the sole had been torn in some places. I asked in advance if it was something that could be fixed and sent photos of the damage. Lee Tabb told me they could be fixed, to go ahead and bring them in. I took the shoes and they asked if I wanted them to match the soles on both shoes. I agreed since I was being charged for the pair anyway in spite of only one shoe needing repairs. For starters, I never got a call on the day I was told they'd be ready for pickup. I waited an extra day then messaged them asking how the shoes were, and only then did they tell me the shoes were ready for pickup. The real kicker is when I went to pick them up, and they look worse than when I brought them in. The smaller tears in the heel haven't been touched at all. Only the single large tear looks as if it's been glued but it's still visibly damaged. And when they said they'd match the soles, I would've said no if I knew they meant tearing out the original, intact sole and replacing both with some cheap material that they didn't even bother to glue down. They cut the brand name off the old soles and stuck them on these new soles, as if the shoes weren't looking Frankenstein enough. When I showed them that the new soles weren't secured to the shoe, they told me it wouldn't be noticeable while I was wearing them. Is that a legitimate excuse? They then offered to glue the soles down if I left the shoes with them a while longer but at that point I declined because why not just glue them down the first time? And they already butchered the shoes worse than what my dog did. I wasn't expecting them to make the heel look brand new again but I didn't expect it to look exactly the same as it did before I dropped them off, if not worse. I thought I was paying them to fix some bite marks on one heel, which they told me they could fix, yet they are still very much there. All but the photo with the orange background are the results of having brought the shoes here.

My shoes were definitely on death's door before coming here, they were heavily loved and the soles were worn through completely in some spots while the heels were worn down (or chewed on from when my dog was a puppy) and creative shoe repair dallas not only brought them back to looking and feeling as good as new, but he did it for an extremely reasonable price. If you have any type of shoe repair needs, bring them here. Lee was so sweet and did such an excellent job. Cannot recommend enough.
