Love it. Come to LA Vista for many years. We bring our wine and sit outside. It reminds me of European restaurants in Italy or Spain. It is cozy and fun. Food is good , service is friendly and price is right what else do you want ?

La Vista - is one of the most consistently yummy restaurants in Houston - hints why its been around for 17 years! It's perfect for a girls night out, private party in the backroom/special occasion or a romantic first date. The environment is cozy and funky (great photography). The food is amazing - filling Italian classics with a touch of Greg (the chef) to spice it up! Personal favorites - ravioli with the creamy vodka sauce, chicken piccata (when they have it on special), big fat chicken breast (go-to for my boyfriend), Pollo pizza, and tomato caprese (if you're trying to be healthy)!

Food is low quality. Parmesan cheese is the same powder you get at a pizza parlor. Truffle fries came out twice without truffle oil, we didn't even bother eating it. The place was packed on a Friday night, it seems like people lose their mind because they can bring their own bottle of wine. Even the wedge salad was bad, too soupy with dressing. $24 quail was dry, my daughter didn't even eat half her dish. The floors are filthy, littered with food. The waiters walk around with dirty dish towels tucked into the back of their pants. The hostess stand has chairs upside down, green plastic crates for glasses, kitchen and bar countertops look dirty. They put so many tables in the restaurant that your chair is about 18 inches away from the next table. Service is so slow. The food is nasty and we ordered the best off their menu (including the beef tenderloin). I don't recommend La Vista because of the nasty food, slow service, unclean environment, and low quality ingredients.
