I haven't been to the Omni Hotel Galleria in forever. So imagine my surprise when I found out this gem sits right off the main lobby. Dim, but not dark this bar spots contemporary leather furniture, and wide couches big enough to accommodate a group. Or, just the right amount of cozy for a couple having a drink. There is plenty of seating, but somehow it still feels intimate. The important things: drinks, food, and staff. The drinks were creative with cute names, but packed a punch! 15 minutes after one drink and I was two seconds from dancing with a lampshade in my head! Maybe not exactly that, but I felt the effects. Their menu had full entrees or a nice assortment of appetizer-size seafood, steak, and vegetarian options. I ordered the grilled shrimp with kale and potatoes. This is definitely on the list for a nice solo drink or to meet a few friends.
