Circle D Transmission

I brought my 2006 F-150 in to have the transmission flushed and filter changed. I thought if they work on racing transmissions chances are they could handle my humble old truck. The shop is well organized, extremely clean and the staff are very competent. My truck shifts much smoother and I will see them in 2 years. Service: Transmission

I was told at another shop that I needed a new transmission. Come to find out I didn't. They were able to service and recalibrate my transmission, and back to normal. Saved me 6k!!!! Service: Transmission

Original review posted in 2020, updated with some more details in 2023: Smart, fast, professional. I went to the GMC dealership first and after 2 days of keeping my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4 they said my transmission was failing and they could rebuild it for $8000. I got a referral from a mechanic that is just outside of my neighborhood and called Circle D Transmission. I explained my problem and they questioned if it was really the transmission right off the bat, but gave a much lower quote if it was. I went there and it turns out it wasn't the transmission, it was the transfer case! I wish the dealership that could have figured that out! But Circle D did, and was able to replace it the same day! This was important to us because I was deploying in less than 2 weeks and my wife needed a reliable vehicle while I was gone. They also updated the software on my transmission and showed me the codes that my truck was throwing that the dealership never even bothered to read! If I have any transmission, transfer case, or drive shaft issues I'll definitely be back.
