Tommy Wilson - State Farm Insurance Agent

After my mother passed away, the house remained in my mother's name for years. The why is a long story, but we had to pay my mother's insurance as we were not authorized to procure insurance for the home. Meanwhile, this State Farm branch informed us that my mother's monthly home insurance was $250. You read that correctly. That's more than my insurance for my home in Austin, TX--which is worth at least twice what my mother's is worth. We explained the issue. They didn't care. We needed a new roof, we were told it was too old and had depreciated to worthless. So I imagine nothing could break in the house at this point that the insurance would cover--but still, we paid $250 a month. I suggest a new insurance company, or at least a different branch. These people don't care who you lost, only that they get paid.

I've known Tommy Wilson going on 35+ years. He and his staff, which includes Mary and Belia, are top notch professionals. I went there seeking lower vehicle insurance premiums, but unfortunately, State Farm was unable to help me.
