My daughter starting with Sonja Donalson when she was about 6 weeks old until she turned 10. I have never had any issues with Rising Star. I fully give credit to Rising Star Learning Academy for my daughter being very respectful, A honor roll student, and top in her class. I would highly recommend Rising Star Learning Academy to any parent.

Unfortunately I did not have a great experience with this daycare my son had told me he got thumped by linn up there and then I told Sonia and she told me that her staff would never do something like that and proceeded to tell me that she reviewed the cameras but from my understanding I didn't see it so the next experience that I had that same following week my son also told me that lady pull the scab off his forehead from a previous fall n was pretty big i was confused as to why she would do that my son told me she said she wanted it to heal right he also said it hurt cause in fact the scab was still fresh that's when I proceeded to change daycares and she then told me well we ain't going to wait until Monday we going to go ahead and change as of today n that was on a Wednesday causing me to lose my job she proceeded to push to cancel that same day cause she was upset i was changing daycares what confused me is shes never there to dictate what another staff will do n to not treat the matter as if it was no big deal the experience overall I had with them was not satisfactory even though they knew beforehand I'm very overprotective of all three of my children. ALL FOR BLACK ESTABLISHMENTS BUT SOME STUFF U DON'T DO WASNT HANDLED CORRECTLY NOR MY CHILDREN if a zero could be a option definitely would b my pick😪

I have never had the experience I did with this daycare any where else. Mrs Sonya portrays herself as a woman of God, but she has the unprofessional behavior of a person from the street extremely rude for a couple months our children were attending the facility one day out of the entire week we paid for im advanced. Even if the Dr said our children were okay in health she told us it didn't matter what the Dr orders were. talked rude to me yelled at me and even took time to walk to the door to give me a very disgusting look. I brought up to her attention on how a teacher inappropriately handled another infant by the arm and pushed him up against a wall while being placed in a short high chair, Sonyashowed no concern about it. How was my child being treated? That was the question to raise. Let's not mention the drive by and man shot and killed in front of the daycare and no notice to parents that there would be safety nothing was mentioned. Completely unprofessional. They display worship and God for free donations that were not provided to the kids unless I was donating clothing to them. If i could display the evidence and text messages you would know this is not an upset parent but a warning to other parents . Here I am again February 1st 2019 giving an update on my review I called to request the EIN number or information for tax purposes and she tells me because of my review I left on here she will not be giving me any information at all for this year. you should not run a business when you cant be professional to do what is required by law due to your feelings for an individual. luckily my CPA knows how to handle the matter with due diligence. God bless this Christian woman because I wish her no bad but a better heart
