Weve been living in our house for over two years now and in the first year we did have to use the one year warranty a decent amount. Its a brand new house and in a new sub division, I know thats normal.
We unfortunately had two issues that took a little while to resolve but the warranty supervisor Ricardo really pulled some strings and helped us out to make everything right the best he could. Im happy with my house and overall experience with century communities!

I would not recommend century to anyone. They did my tile flooring And didnt lay it properly so my tile is beginning to live this is only a year of living there I filed a warranty and they came and saw that there was over 60 hollow spots between my kitchen and living room their first option was to either a give us $5000 which is not feasible because someone did a quote on their home and it was going to cost over $10,000 to get the same tile laid down or the other option was vinyl which is still not feasible because your Homewood instantly lose value going from tile to vinyl so I told them I was going to get in touch with a lawyer so then the next day they come up with well Will replace tile for tile but you cannot live in your home for seven days and century is not reliable for where you go or $5000. Either way this still isnt even a good offer because where do you take your family to live out for seven days especially if you have two babies and on top of that and this economy who can afford to go live somewhere for seven days on their own dollar just so century can fix their mess up. more than half of the community is facing this issue with our flooring. Also I put in warrantees for my home before my warranty expiration and since it is past my warranty because they failed to do their part and do my warranty within a time limit they wont fix my warranties. absolutely trash.

We have submitted 20 claims on August 4th and 10 of the claims have been closed and no one has contacted us or has come to our residence to even begin the work. This is also true for other claims for our home. There was a claim for the master bathroom vanity top as it was to be replaced before we closed, it appeared to be done but in fact a patch job was completed instead. When we realized the issue we submitted a claim. A guy was sent to the house and deemed that if he repaired it he could make it worse. he spoke to his supervisor. Later I received a call to schedule the vanity replacement, I scheduled it and nothing happened. When I contacted Mariano (construction manager) about this he stated they had to pull the mirror first, which did not happen nor did the vanity get replaced. Yet the warranty claim for this and other claims are closed and nothing has been done.
I mention all of the above because this is the kind of frustrating situation we continuously find ourselves in with no resolve. I have tried to be patient but our claims are ignored. I have a loaner stove in our home. Nick (VP of construction) helped us get a loaner oven range in time for Easter, after we did not have a ranger for two weeks. The loaner range is damaged which we learned that Nick was not even aware of. Mariano has yet to contact us with any update since April/May. Yet the ticket on this is closed. We are thankful to have the range but we purchased a new home that had new appliances that would include the appliances not to be in used or damaged capacity.
In recent days, we have had our independent inspector come out for the 10th inspection. There were several things brought to our attention that we as homeowners need to do, and are currently doing or have completed but also there are things that fail under our warranty. The tickets were submitted and they are already closed, how is this possible?
