Benchmark family services Sugarland is a very bad place to start your fostering journey from if you are new to foster care. They will frustrate your efforts. The director at the Sugarland branch is very unprofessional, she lies about everything. They don't care about the children in foster care, it is all about them and their self pride. They treat foster parents like trash. Please do not go there , they will only bring pain to you and your foster child. My rating is a zero.

Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Mean what you say and say what you mean. These people waited three months for paperwork from a different CPA . Sad they waited so long , and then not only did I tell them the issue with the CPA in question , so did another parent. But they waited and still after hearing the truth from two different sources they still drunk the kool-aid. If you’re looking from support from this agency you won’t get it.

These people are a trip. First of all, I finished all the paperwork. No-one complained and they steady told me I was good. Now, their saying my history shows I'm not commited. I informed y'all my schedule was busy until I got the foster child and I would clear my schedule. You judge me and didn't hear what I said in the beginning. I finished all the paperwork, only had fingerprints and home inspection left and they made me start all over. You can go through them but they aren't what they say they are. Like someone said, "They're going to say it's you who's the problem." Be careful with the one off Northwest Freeway.

Please do not use this place. If zero were a rating that what be it.... Zero. 0!!!! They are very unorganized, unprofessional, will loose your paperwork in a second so make copies, keep a paper trail, record calls and take notes because they will LIE LIE LIE at every turn. They make it seem like they are for the family and all about the children but they are completely HEARTLESS, PETTY AS HELL AND DONT CARE ABOUT THE FOSTER PARENTS OR THE CHILDREN THEY PLACE. I tried so many times with them for 3 years. I used them for my adoption, did respite care, and Foster care. When I couldn't take it any more and was going to change companies, for the very first time they RUSHED, HURRIED UP and the children that were doing well moved from my home, lied to the case worker at CPS SAYING I WANTED THEM MOVED... Blamed it on me because they lied and said the children would have day-care.... I can go on on on and on.... Too many horrible things.... Run away.... Try PATHWAYS OR SOMETHING ELSE anything else... Go to the board and check all the issues and complaints it's a lot.
