My family, including 2 children, have been seen at this office for routine cleanings after a move. Brought my kiddo in for a 6 month cleaning and was told by Dr. Quigley “there were some spots starting, but nothing to worry about, we will take care of it NEXT time.†Four months later (Not even the recommended 6 month wait period) very noticeable “spots†were visible on my child’s back teeth. I called the office to schedule fillings. Was told Dr. Quigley had to view the xrays and notes to see how bad the decay was. Never got a call back. Called back a week later and they just said they would refer me. They couldn’t treat a pediatric patient. If treating a pediatric patient was a problem why did they agree to the multiple routine cleanings we went in for previously? If it was out of their scope of practice they should have been upfront. Also, saying we will “take care of it next time†lead me to believe it wasn’t a concern and they could handle. After finding a pediatric dentist, we now have 4 cavities along with 2 crowns that have been placed on two different occasions. Because of the locations along with the amount of work, the dentist thought it would be in the best interest of my child to have separate procedures. Dr. Quigley was negligent and his office was not upfront in stating that they don’t see pediatric patients. The procedures my child endured, along with the cost, could have have been prevented. Shame on this office and most importantly, Dr. Quigley, for putting my child through this process!
