I took classes here and still the great lessons I learned here help me to this day. The teacher Manie Garcia is easily one of the most selfless and humble people I met in my life. He has had several years of experience in the art and is very knowledgeable of the lessons he teaches. Karate as well as Boxing, Kick Boxing, and Jujitsu Are just a few. He works really well with kids of all ages and will help teach self confidence, discipline, and self defense in a way that seems like fun to them. The prices are great and the schedule was easy to work with. Would recommend to anyone that wants to learn the art or genuinely just get a good work out. Glad it’s in our town.

A great family studio! Manie and Summer have worked so hard to make this dojo a meaningful space for students to grow and explore their physical and mental potential. And they've created a sense of community around encouragement and positive reinforcement. My son has cerebral palsy, and has difficulty with many of the techniques, but they work with him to help find his own way of accomplishing each exercise and progress through the ranks. Because of his disability, we were concerned that he might be bullied at school. So we wanted to give him a way to gain confidence and a way to feel strong. Now in his fifth year, Kobayoshi continues to make him feel included and successful. We're so proud of his effort and grateful to Manie and Summer for theirs as well. It's a safe and nurturing environment, that also teaches kids the value of being mentally tough. It's not a high pressure, competitive studio. The emphasis for kids is first time listening, self discipline, and healthy minds and bodies. Self defense is a major component, but they also mix it up with fun drills, running and cardio, and fun loud music so kids can also just come in after school and burn off the pressures of the day in a structured environment. When you see the older kids who have dedicated themselves to this program, you understand that this is an investment in your child's character. I highly recommend the program. Stop in, watch a class, let your kid jump in for a day. You won't regret it.
