The Abbington at Heber City

I can’t begin to explain how upsetting it is when you walk in to visit one of the residents and you get to witness a situation, then speaking up about it. Yet it continues to happen and the boss’s/people in charge are doing absolutely nothing about the situation. I visited a friend there and the resident himself got denied food, I couldn’t believe what had happened and how unfair that was. What’s happening at the Abbington? Really seems like it’s going down hill and something needs to be done, I’m not sure if the actual owner is aware of what’s happening here but I wouldn’t recommend you taking a family member here. It’s honestly devastating.

I worked at the front desk for several months and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I became friends with the residents and staff. There is a close, community feeling. The staff has a caring attitude with the residents and each other. I miss being there. The residents also care for each other and many are good friends. The administration spends long and extra hours making sure that everything runs smoothly.

My mother was a member of the Abbington community for 3 years. From the beginning to the end we felt she was well cared for and respected by all. If our family ever had an issue, it was immediately addressed. From the top down people take their jobs seriously and to heart, many going above and beyond. We recommend the Abbington at Heber City if you are looking for an Assisted living commmunity for your loved one.

I went in to try the food with a friend for a possible admit and the food is not high quality! Things seemed like they're pre-made and frozen. Could do a lot better!
