Isaiah with my buddy the plumber gave me a $5000 bid to fix what ended up being a 25$ repair. I used my buddy the plumber for years. Apparently they are now under new ownership, and operating with terrible ethics. Isaiah also used scare tactics to pressure me into doing the job immediately.

My Buddy The Plumber was trusted and reliable company... until they were not. Several years ago I signed up for their membership service called "My Buddy The Plumbers Club". after more than a year of the service I call to cancel the service. The person I spoke to said that was fine and they they had cancelled the subscription. Well.... After several several months (almost a year!!) THEY STARTED BILLING ME for the membership WITHOUT any notice or communication. TOTALLY UNETHICAL, DISHONEST BEHAVIOR.

Updated review: Paid for the yearly membership, which paid off for the repipe below but when a tech came out for the AC tuneup, we asked for him to check both units. He arrived, only checked one unit, and told us it was malfunctioning with a repair costing 2-8k. In addition, he used some made up words of the pieces wed needhad another service tech out from a small company (not owned by bestige) and he tightened a loose screw which removed the noise associated with our unit. I dont plan to move forward with my buddy for future work now that Trevor moved. Original review (5 stars): We had our whole house re-piped from poly-b to PEX by Trevor and Jordan. They were awesome! They were very communicative, punctual, kept noise and drywall cutting to a minimum, and happily worked around my nosy animals. I was especially impressed at the quality of work performed and that the prices were WAY less than what Beehive/similar were quoting. Lastly, they quoted a shorter time frame than all other quotes I received and even with the shorter turnaround time, they worked endlessly to get finished even earlier. Impressed and happy to use them for all future plumbing needs.

PLEASE READ THIS! We had My Buddy the Plumber come out 2 years ago to fix our furnace. They couldn't fix it so we paid thousands to replace the furnace. It sucks to replace a furnace, but it is what it is (so I thought). We had been happy with our experience until the past few days. There was condensation leaking outside the piping, so I called for a tune up. Turns out that the installers totally messed up the install and the condensation leaked into the furnace and is corroding the gas pipe, metal work, heat exchange, and has created an unsafe situation for my family. Though the furnace company warrants their stuff, since this is due to inept installers and employees of My Buddy the Plumber, it falls out of warranty. This is only a 2 year old furnace. So now we have to spend thousands more to either limp this along for another 2 years worth of life or buy another furnace. I had them come out multiple times during that first year (due to their loyalty program) to inspect the furnace and none of this was caught. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They are con-men and do not warranty their work. There are lots of reviews within 6 months to a year's worth of good reviews. But you can't trust those reviews due to the short time of owning those furnaces. Give it 2-3 years, and you would really find out that My Buddy the Plumber are terrible at what they do. Their inability to correctly do their work is DANGEROUS to anybody that is a customer. There should be a lawsuit against them and they should be held responsible for their unprofessionalism. Run Run Run away from them.
