        Used to be a ton of fun here as a kid.... That was like, 30 years ago. I remember back then they had a dance hall and every weekend pretty much every body at the campground would come out to dance to classics like "cotton eye Joe", "the electric slide" and "the macareña". Fun times, real fun times back then. They don't have that anymore and the campground almost has a whole other feeling now, not a bad one just a kind of much quieter much. It is very peaceful here and there is access to some of the most beautiful and swimmable parts of the Battenkill River, not to mention they have their own private pond (which is great for fishing, swimming in the pond idk people do but yuck I'll take the river).
