Dharshan Namaste Asian Deli

Has the basics, clean, extensive, and well organized enough, but not much by way of brand selection. Especially in terms of soy sauce, chili pastes, etc. Just one or two, and they were the kinds with salt and sugar as main ingredients.

They just expanded in Winooski- with good reason. Last time I was there the place was so packed with merchandise that it went across the aisles mounted to the ceiling or something! I just went there again today and while they are still as of now in transition they are just as awesome. This time I was able to get some delicious teas, a huge handful of chilies (almost a pound), noodles, nori, condensed milk, and dates - it all filled a tote bag and was just over twenty bucks. The guy who helped us while we were there was awesome- he seems to know everything about any random thing we mention, and of course he has it in stock or will shortly, transitioning and all. They take cards and have all sorts of interesting snacks and ingredients. I will be going back next week to see them again after they have finished stocking.
