I called RE Morgan & Sons hoping to have an issue with a powder room toilet fixed while supporting a long standing local business. If my experience was positive I could potentially end up spending tens of thousands on renovation projects with them. However I called and spoke to Caroline, who proceeded to answer my questions in a snappy manner and try to scare me away from scheduling a plumber to come out?
She asked what the problem was and I explained concisely to her. She said OK well we charge $210 for the first hour and $110 for the subsequent hours after that. I agreed though that seems steep.. She then said "well we require a credit card upfront".. again strange but I agreed because I just wanted someone to fix my toilet.
She then said "Well... I don't know when I can schedule you, I'll have to call you back." I said that's fine and gave her my contact information, never to hear from her or anyone else from RE Morgan again.
I ended up asking a company out in Norwich to come out and they were fantastic and resolved my issue in under an hour! I recommend taking your business elsewhere, to a business with plenty of positive Google reviews. I don't see why I didn't meet Caroline's standards.
