Honestly dont know why they have a 4.8 star rating, maybe it was just me having a bad experience. When I got my car back I noticed there was resin on the hood of my brand new 2022 car. Was not happy about that. The customer service was excellent. Very nice office lady. As this happened a few months ago I realize the chips in my windshield are coming back. I didnt have this issue with Safelite on my old car. Shouldve stuck with what I knew. Talk about sales and service! I'm passing through on a road trip to Denver Colorado and needed my windshield replaced on the spot. Even though they were busy, they were able to replace my windshield in 45 minutes at a deep discount versus Safelite who had no availability. Windshield city has apparently been around at least 50 years in Harrisonburg and Ben, the employee who actually worked on my car was very knowledgeable and friendly. I'm so grateful that I can continue my road trip without having to worry. Thank you windshield City! Talk about sales and service! It was like whoever installed my replacement windshield had zero experience. Trim parts that were installed fell off going down the road. Wind noise was loud after new windshield was installed. After close inspection, I found that they didn't install the lower molding, the foam gasket that sits between the windshield and dash, and the upper molding wasn't OEM which caused the trim parts to fly off as I was driving. I took the car back and Mr. Serrell said that they would need to keep my car over night because the windshield they had installed originally cracked as they were taking it out to make repairs. Returned the next day and picked up the car and everything appeared to be as it should except I noticed the 2nd windshield they installed to replace the 1st replacement windshield they broke was of a lower quality. The 2nd replacement windshield had vertical distortion lines in it. Never again. Reply to owner's response.........you are not going back far enough in your invoice files.
