Been using Old Dominion for years, both Commercial and Residential. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

We used ODF for many flooring projects and have spent well over ten thousand dollars, both in hardwood floor and carpet installations, over the years. Recently, one of our children made a stain on a carpet that ODF had just installed about a month prior, and we were unable to get the stain out. We contacted a professional carpet cleaner, and they couldn't get it out either. When we purchased the carpet, our ODF sales rep (Wendy) had told us the carpet had a lifetime warranty for stains, but when we notified her of the stain, she just quoted us full price to purchase and reinstall more of the same carpet in that room. She didn't even seem to want to try to help us with a claim. We called a few other carpet installers, and they acted shocked that she didn't make more of an effort to cover it under warranty, or at least give us some kind of discount. I tried to file a warranty claim myself directly with the manufacturer, but they said that only the retailer could file claims. I then implored Wendy to file a claim, and she did, but the next day she said that claim was rejected. I'm not satisfied with the way that ODF handled this, and we won't be using them again in the future. Service: Install flooring
