Boon's Car Saloon

I have a nice shiny sports car. I keep it very clean... This place does excellent work at great prices. It was close to Thanksgiving and they actually offered their customers a traditional Thanksgiving turkey dinner while having work done on their car! While this is what pushed me, mentally, to leave a review, the work done on the car was timely, affordable and effective. The owner, Scott, is tremendously personable and knowledgeable. Boon's brings back that small business, hometown experience for car service. Don't get me wrong, it's not like going to Jiffy Lube. That's partly why I go to Boon's, though! Going to Jiffy Lube is like buying Bose headphones. Most of what you are paying for goes to other people's experience and the name on the label. Boon's is like finding a stellar pair of audiophile grade speakers at a garage sale. All things considered, I'm going to this garage! My car is the thing on the road that takes me back to my abode. I trust Boon's with that kind of day-to-day maintenance and responsibility.

I mean this when I say Scotty Boon is a one in a million mechanic and business owner, and I only just me him yesterday, unfortunately. I came in telling him I thought some of the things I had been experiencing with my car were the result of transmission trouble. After an extremely thorough evaluation-raising my car up on the lift, driving the car around the block several times, and keeping it overnight to look at it further-he discovered the issue and found that it was a much much less expensive problem to fix. He probably could have sold me a half a dozen different repairs. But he didn't. He told me exactly what I needed, and at a cost that could have been much much higher and still would have been fair. Suffice it to say, I'm still blown away by my experience here and will be sad that I can't take this place with me when I move out of Virginia.

Friendly Staff. Got my License plate fixed here. Will come back sure for state inspection and other services.. Highly recommended ☺️ Do note entry is on E 11th Street. Back side of Princess Anne Road June 2019: Unfortunately, this place has closed down :(
