The Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Virginia Hispanic Foundation have amazing programs to help the Hispanic community:
The Bilingual Business Development Center providing bilingual counseling/educational workshops to individuals interested in starting/ growing their business
TrabajaVA which helps match regional employers with Hispanic job seekers
Legal & Civil Assistance Clinics which help low income individuals with Immigration and civil issues.
The Pasaporte A La Educacin which prepares our future workforce through mentoring and bilingual leadership lessons for Hispanic students in elementary, middle & high school.

I was fairly new to the wonderful and life changing state of Virginia. The chamber has not only helped me build connections for my business but lifelong friends! I am a proud member of the chamber and will welcome any new members with a red carpet. Mishel and his team have been nothing but amazing and fantastic. I just finished my internship here and absolutely loved it! My supervisor and all of the team are amazing. They are very caring and understanding, putting people first. Not only did I learn and gain experience as an intern, I learned about the remarkable work that the Virginia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce does in Virgina. This was an experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

I have been working with the VAHCC for over 20 years I have grown personally and professionally in that time. From simple business mixers to educational opportunities there are so many benefits for membership. Also the 2 large events the Que Pasa Festival and the annual Gala are now must attend events. Mostly I admire their commitment to community especially with the Passport to education Program in our schools and business and legal assistance to our minority owned businesses. I am proud to be associated with such a great organization and it's people.
