Kyoshi Brian Hobson, Sensei Eric, Sensei Ken, Sensei Kim and the senpais at Brian Hobson Karate Studio in Yorktown epitomize the professionalism, dedication, and expertise that traditional karate presents itself as. I watched my brother practice karate at Brian Hobson's dojo in Hampton for over a year before I decided to try it for myself and I must admit that the level of experience at either location is overwhelming. However, what started out as a new exercise regime has turned into a delight; as I see not only physical changes but a transformation in personal discipline both in the dojo and in my daily life. It is an honor to practice karate with these individuals on a daily basis. They work hard for the success of their students and in return we, the students, learn more than movements -- we grow as individuals. I whole-heartily endorse Brian Hobson Karate Studio, both the Yorktown and Hampton locations, and recommend them to anyone and EVERYONE.
