Brightmont Academy

My daughter has a learning disability and tutoring at Brightmont has made a significant difference in her academic achievement and her confidence in school. To be clear, to succeed, the student has to put in the effort, but we've been impressed with the attention to detail and the tutors Brightmont has provided throughout our daughter's high school years. We've also enrolled our daughter this year for her senior math requirement based on clear evidence at her public high school that she learns better with one-on-one teaching for more difficult classes. Can't endorse highly enough.

My daughter attended Brightmont full time for High School and had the best experience we could have hoped for. As an advanced student, she thrived on being able to work at her own pace and loved the one-on-one instruction set-up. Her teachers were all very dedicated and expanded the various curriculums with their vast knowledge and life experiences - she enjoyed great discussions with them and always felt validated.  She felt comfortable bringing up any issues or concerns with the staff, and Aileen was always ready to sit down with her and discuss her progress and next steps. I appreciate how well prepared she was to start college this year, both academically and socially. She easily got into her top choice college and has had a smooth transition. We're very pleased with her time spent at Brightmont and highly recommend the Sammamish school!

My daughter had an excellent experience at Brightmont from 7th grade through 10th grade.  She has a learning disability and benefited greatly from the 1:1 environment, especially with the core classes (Math, History, English & Science).  Aileen was always very helpful in setting up her schedule so she could also attend public school for her other classes (art & Music etc).  Even after we moved out of the area during the pandemic, my daughter was able to do online classes 1:1, so she didn't fall behind.  My daughter is currently taking all of her classes at the public school and doing great.  I absolutely credit Brightmont for giving her the skills to be able to transition back to public school, and look forward to going to college in a couple of years.

Worst place for sending child for tutoring. Not worth at all for money they charge.
