The actual owner came out to our house to clean out the septic, we moved our vehicles to make it easier for him. He took the liberty to move our BBQ and several other item to the middle of our driveway without asking prior and in the process broke the wheel off our BBQ. When leaving he didn't move anything he moved himself back (probably because he knew he broke our BBQ wheel off) so we went out and had to move everything back ourselves we noticed the BBQ wheel was broken. I called him right away to let him know but he was very rude and acted like it was no big deal, he said "well I'm in the driveway still do you want me to come back and take a look?" I said what is that going to do? You broke our BBQ wheel off. He didn't offer to fix it or anything, just acted like it was our problem. Very disappointed to say the least, I wouldn't give him one star if I could. Very rude and unprofessional.

I am the owner of Clark's Septic Service, I want to be heard on the issue of the drainfield problem. We do not do drainfield work or are we affiliated with any company that does. The way we determine if a drainfield has issues is to pour 4 gallons of water into the drainfield per minute. If we were certifying the system for a lender they would require we do it for 2 hours. We will run water for the length of time it takes to pump the tank (20-30 minutes) as a service to the customer to inform them of a problem that any reputable septic pumper would not certify the system if the customer was selling. Purge testing is not rocket science, if the drainfield accepts the water it is working if it doesn't, that is a indication of a problem. We are not looking for problems where there is not a problem, we are trying to help the homeowner be proactive with their onsite sewage disposal system. My company has two drivers myself and 1 employee. I have 35 years experience and my driver has 13 years. If you ask the person that said your system was fine I wonder how much experience he/she has or if they are even still in the industry?

We hired Clark's Septic Services for a routine septic pump. They informed us that our leach field was failing and recommended a local guy to install a new leach field for a minimum of $6,000 to $7000 dollars. A week later, a second company conducted a purge test of our leach field and said it was working exactly as it should.
