Austin was having a very bad day when we came in to pickup our boat. He went WAY out of his way to not put his problems on his customer (me). I respect that a lot and give him 5 stars just for that customer service. But I also was very pleased with the work they did (bottom paint on aluminum boat plus minor engine maintenance). I had no problems with scheduling or communication. I'd definitely go back when the boat needs work.

I can't speak to the quality of the work these people do, it may be excellent. But I simply can't get them to engage with me to do any work on my boat. This place recently changed management (it used to be Pettit), and I get the sense they just don't have their act together yet. I tried twice, each over a period of weeks to engage with these folks on the phone to do some simple fiberglass repairs on my sailboat, which is there in the marina where they are located. I could not successfully get them to give a quote I would believe in or commit to a timeframe to do the work. They don't answer the phone, don't return calls, they miss appointments, they play "telephone" with information. They are unprofessional on the phone. They won't give an itemized quote, and the quote they did give was outlandishly expensive. When I asked the to explain it, they clearly hadn't understood what I had asked them to do (they thought I wanted the whole boat painted). When I asked to speak to someone that knew better what the work would be, they wouldn't connect me and played more "telephone." Maybe they're great but I'd stay away until they get their stuff together.
