This is the best yarn shop in the Olympia/Lacey/Tumwater area! Michelle, Leanna & Maddy do a wonderful job of making the shop a warm and friendly place to visit. They offer a wide variety of quality yarn, some of which is locally sourced. I have enjoyed improving my knitting skills by participating in some of the classes that are offered. A lovely place to sit and visit with other fiber enthusiasts, as you all work on your current projects.

One of the owners of the shop was immediately judgmental towards me and she was annoyed with my questions about the inventory that was advertised online, I asked if they had an item and she seemed like she couldnt be bothered to assist me and that I was simply not worth her attention. Im not sure what her issue with me was at first. However I did organize all the circular knitting needles in order for them because when I was looking through them I decided not to get a couple and I heard her multiple times tell the other owner how they would have to organize the needles tonight. Obviously complaining that I touched them at all. When I checked out the one owner who was very helpful to me and kind (only reason Im giving it any stars at all) I told her that I had organized all the knitters pride circular needles from smaller to large; she thanked me graciously and informed me I didnt need too. And just to be the bigger person to the owner who made me feel like I committed a crime for looking for a particular size I said oh no its totally fine. Note that the circular needles arent hanged by us size and size of length they are hanged by length size only. I ended up buying the wrong length of circular needles due to my anxiety from dealing with the first owner who was next to me the entire time I was in the store. Ultimately Ill go back if Im desperate to get something the same day and dont want to wait otherwise online purchases for me. Work on your people skills just because I dont look like a typical church going girl doesnt mean jack. I can still knit and sew. And my money is the same as everyone elses. They have a lot of pricey boutique yarns however very limited knitting needle selection.

Amazing local yarn shop featuring Jorstad yarns and others. Cozy vibe and plenty of places to sit and knit.

We have a wide selection of yarn. They also seemed to sell some embroidery thread. She also seemed to have knitting classes from time to time.
