My television was held hostage by another repair shop . . . one day in Al's took care of it, with a very reasonable repair cost! I've recommended Al's TV to many of my friends!

Don't get ripped off by Al's tv. I initially contacted the manufacter's tech support Who told me I would need a new power card for my 40 inch LED TV . They also told me that the PowerCard would cost $65 including shipping . I told Al this financially contacted him to repair my TV. He told me those online text don't know what they're talking about and I would have to bring my TV in to have them diagnose the problem. This diagnostic about cost $35 but that has to be applied to the repair if I chose to repair it. I took it down there and they diagnosed it as being a series of diodes and solenoids associated with the power supply. He told me it would be another $153 to repair it. When I asked him about replacing the entire PowerCard he said they were going to rebuild it instead. However the bottom line is that means they make 50 bucks an hour at Tech cost to replace two and three dollar parts instead of the entire PowerCard which would only cost $65. When I went to pick up my TV they could not give me any kind of written diagnostic estimate as to what was wrong with it but again said it was a bunch of diodes that had gone bad. I took the TV home what are the PowerCard myself from the manufacture and install that myself. It literally involved six screws and five small cables. There's no soldering involved whatsoever the whole job took me no more than 15 minutes and the TV works great. Lesson learned don't get ripped off by Al!
