Her services resulted in our father securing a placement that exceeded my expectations in every way (and you cannot imagine how high my standard is). The last six months of his life was so improved by the quality of the match she found. We were facing a complex situation and emergent needs.Ms. Everson came through when our Dad needed it most. I am profoundly grateful to her.

Deb was a life saver. From the beginning I was impressed with Deb. My sister and I needed to find care for my Mom quickly as she was being released from a SNF and needed additional care. I received Deb's number as a referral and when I called her, she admitted she was not familiar with my area of town and may not be able to help me. I respected her honesty. After talking a bit more, we realized that her areas of business were actually within our distance range, so we moved forward. Deb is one of the most thorough people I know. From our first conversation to the coordination of the nurse assessment, Deb was all in - she took the time to listen to all details, she was texting, calling, following up as if it was her own mom. When timing became urgent, Deb was right beside my sister and I (figuratively, since this was during Covid), making calls, sending emails and following up to help move my Mom. My faith and trust in Deb is that of my own family member. We could not have gone through this without her. I feel like she became a friend and I could not imagine not having her to lean on. Her knowledge, her attention to detail, her thoroughness, attentiveness, organization, her caring - she made things happen and supported my sister and I as we navigated through a stressful situation. She listened, she cared, she cheered, she actioned what needed to be done. The home Deb found for my Mom was a perfect fit. My Mom has settled in, is happy, her care is great, and we owe it all to Deb. Deb - Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!!

Sound Transitions was a life-saver for us. My dear friend whom I lived with and cared for, became ill and was hospitalized during the worst of the Covid epidemic. He developed a stage 3 decubitus ulcer on his heel in an extended care facility and was forced to go to an Adult Family Home. Because of his size and condition, a placement was more than challenging. His family and I didn't know where to begin. Thankfully, his sister Sue heard a friend in the medical profession suggest Sound Transitions. Debra Everson's knowledge, experience and professionalism are superb. Her kindness is the icing on the cake. She said she only placed her clients in the best locations, and it appears she does. My friend is happy and has improved considerably since he settled into the Adult Family Home. I cannot say enough positive things about Debra Everson and Sound Transitions. I recommend Sound Transitions wholeheartedly.

Deb was gift to us. She provided competent, caring counsel and advice specific to our situation, always in a timely manner. She took the time to learn about the complexities we faced, provided information and brought to our attention aspects we had not thought of ourselves and clearly articulated how she could support us. Deb's communications with the family were comprehensive. She took a very active role in requesting and securing various and necessary medical and later logistical information from several different medical institutions to facilitate the identification of the optimal new home for my husband, ensured a smooth transition by managing communications and action-items (i.e. transfer of appropriate medical records, medication lists, etc.) to the Adult Family home we selected. She remained engaged after the move to support both my husband post-move and our family. Deb is very knowledgeable from a medical and process perspective, said what she (and we) needed to do and always came through on her commitments. We could not have made this transition with out her guidance.

When I was in a crisis and my mother needed a place to live, I was fortunate to connect with Deb. Her encouragement, knowledge of resources and services is amazing-and she was incredibly patient walking me through the process. My mom is now in a facility that is as caring as Deb is and I am able to relax and look forward to my mom being safe and well cared for.
