Dr. Goll is the best dentist I have ever known, and he has always had a smile and a friendly word for me on my many visits to his office. Over the past few years I have spent in excess of $20,000 for his services and my insurance has paid him untold additional amounts. Therefore, I was shocked by the way he responded to me when his office manager was unable to explain why I had been charged $269 for a clasp that I didn’t receive. Dr. Goll wrote me an email in which he stated that I had received a loop, but his office manager had no code to bill my insurance for loop, so she billed for clasp. Unfortunately, when my insurance refused to pay for a service that wasn’t rendered, I ended up paying $269 for a clasp I didn’t receive. I am deeply disappointed that Dr. Goll is willing to lose me as a faithful patient of long standing rather than to acknowledge that it is reasonable for me to resent having paid for an erroneous charge. Despite all this, I recommend Dr. Goll highly. He gives state-of-the-art solutions to dental problems, and sometimes he will reluctantly give a less costly solution to a problem. In either case, you can be confident that his work will be superior.
