TSI is a rare gem in the rough of academies for the study of the traditional Chinese disciplines of Taiji, Qigong, and Bagua. The school also offers excellent instruction in other aspects of Chinese medicine and culture. I have been a serious student of the director, Harrison Moretz, for over 15 years and can say with certainty that he represents the highest in skill, integrity, and understanding of the ancient tradition he transmits. If you are truly interested in an art that will transform your life, and are willing to practice, then look no further.

Excellent holistic learning experience.  Classes provide the full Chen style, Hunyuan System of taiji from beginner to advanced and support these classes with an adjunct curriculum of other internal martial arts disciplines such as Bagua Zhang and Xinyiquan.  Wellness forms of Hunyuan System Qigong and Classical Chinese Texts such as the Tao Te Ching are also the subjects of classes.  Instruction is presented with clarity and patience.  TSI has a welcoming, inclusive and supportive community of students. The space is large and comfortable, very suitable for movement classes.My experience with TSI has been very rewarding and I look forward to my continued association with the organization and the community.

This school teaches the foundational as well as higher principles of Taoism and the physical expressions, such as Taiji, Bagua,  Xingyi, and Qigong. The teachers are the best I've found in my last decade of searching. I feel honoured to be apart of this school.
