Dave is a terrible businessman. I had my transmission rebuilt in my 1991 Mercedes four years ago, and it recently lost all forward gears. I was still under the 5 year warranty so I gave him a call. He said I could bring it down the next week since he was pretty busy. I'm 60 miles away, so I had to arrange towing to get there. The next week rolls around, so I called him monday to see when to bring it down. He says bring it down wednesday, so I finalize the tow. When the tow truck gets there, he says he doesn't know what he's talking about and can't even remember making the appointment a couple days ago. The tow driver doesn't know what to do, and I'm working, so he leaves a message and waits across the street in Seattle. I finally get a hold of him and he claims I should have called him again that morning to make sure, and that there's nowhere to put the car, and that he doesn't remember me from almost 5 years ago anyway so he probably wouldn't honor the warranty, even though I had my original receipt. In the end he wouldn't budge, so I had to get the car towed home and eat the towing cost, as well as the towing from the original breakdown. I turned out to be a relatively simple band adjustment he should have done when he rebuilt it originally, but it required me to tear into the trans myself. It would have taken him a couple of hours to do most likely. At the very least he needs a secretary or assistant to keep track of his appointments, this was the worst customer service I've ever experienced, and it cost me real money too.

Dave (the owner) is straight forward. The transmission service is top notch. Very reasonably priced service. Great to do business with.

The worst experience in a long time for me. Seemed like such an awesome guy when I came in the first time. Offered 5 year 60k mile warranty for transmission repair for $2,600 and all I got was the car back with still two gears sleeping when I picked the vehicle up. I called him on the way home and informed of the issue. Set up appointment to get it fixed at later day because of his schedule and my up coming medical procedure. My recovery was about 4 month and I called him when I was back able to drive the car to him set up an appointment. Got the car back to him and his words were who messed with my transmission. Told me there were new parts put on in when it was In my possession and he needed to have me come back at the later date. I ones again took time off work and got the car back to his shop. This went on for total of 3 back visits with no results and some silly story's from him how someone messed with his transmission. After my car was there the third time I reminded him of how it did not work on the way home when I picked it up after repair and two other times I had to bring the car back for warranty repair and asked him to keep the vehicle this time till repair is done. That conversation made him angry and he simply told me he is hanging up the phone and he did. I'm filing a law suit against him and recommend you do the same if you had similar experience with this individual. I'm out $2,600 and still broken transmission with no way of getting any warranty done because this individual makes up story's and simply hang up on his customers when he don't feel like fixing your car.
