Very bad teachers are very mean and rude

My two teenagers, 14 & 15 have been attending Sylvan Ballard for approximately 9 months and it has been great. From a results standpoint, my son was a C / D student, always missing assignments and seemed to be lost when we would try to help him with homework. Since being at Sylvan, he is now an A / B student. Sylvan has helped him with organization by reviewing with him his online homework portals each time he is in to keep him accountable for his assignments. They have coordinated their lesson plans with his school plans so that they are simultaneously working on the same material that he is in school. More importantly, my son is now more confident in his work and that too helps him excel. My daughter attends for homework help. Sylvan gives her a quiet place, free from the distractions of life to get her homework done. She comes home excited to show me how much she was able to get done in the hour that she is there. They have tutors that will help her when she needs help. In addition to the above, Sylvan has been great to work with when it comes to scheduling and rescheduling sessions. We are a busy family that is pulled in several directions between work, appointments, practices, games. The team at Sylvan does not hesitate to reschedule the sessions for my children when they have conflicting sports or other events. I would highly recommend Sylvan.

The teachers are great and are able to keep my girls focused and excited to learn. My youngest gets upset when I have to change or move a session. She loves it!

sylvan has helped me a lot throughout the year with my school work and all of the above would highly recommend.

My son was able to jump four grade levels in less than a year. We're very happy with his progress and highly recommend Sylvan.
