As far as boutique wineries go, Scarborough winery is one of the best if you are in the pacific northwest looking for some great wines. We visited Scarborough winery for some barrel tasting. Don't let the exterior business park decor distract you from the magic that goes on inside the doors. Travis, the winemaker, was very knowledgeable and was probably too generous in his pours--I'm glad we had a designated driver! We were able to taste some new releases as well... the midnight was just phenomenal. If you like Rhone wines, this is a must. We tasted so many different wines--I wish I could remember them specifically to give a run down of them individually. Suffice it to say they are all worth trying. We left with a half a case and got the 'wine club' discount which was an unexpected treat. All in all a great stopover before flying back home.
