This company made an unsolicited contact with me to sell my loan. In and of itself, this is fine. However, they attempted to contact me at my place of employment (a school district) after attempting to reach me on my personal phone. I had just finished refinancing with a broker I had used before and told them that. Even after I told them this the person I was talking to attempted to get me to refinance through them by telling me that what I had done with my broker wasn't completed and was just the initial application and my loan should have funded by now. I asked if I had ever had financing through them and he attempted to make it sound like I had and then told me they would have sold it right away. Then he tried telling me they could get my loan done in 2 weeks for only $25 and save me $212. Given how hard my broker worked on the refinance, this seemed unlikely. Each of these things is not cause for alarm, but taken together is seems like an unethical sales practice.
