Confluence Health needs new competition. And has for years. Hoping someone opens that door soon. As a life time resident Ive seen changes. Definitely need other options. Was hoping for Providence. This place cant even give an estimate for new patient visit with new primary. Was placed with a new primary for women who are younger. Got to pay that visit. That doctor recommended I see internal medicine doctor and make that my primary choice. I am 65 and not of child bearing years. She was a nice doctor. Now I call to see how much this appointment will cost with internal medicine first visit for new primary. No one has a clue. Wants to give me codes to have me call Medicare and my supplement. That is what they do. Do they not know a charge? they sure do send the bill., they created. Cancelled the appointment. I cant afford $400 dollars every time I'm placed with a new primary. I have had 4 in the last 3 years. Still hoping for competition. Who knows maybe community health will have some new methods and be able to do more than in the past. Might be the only option.
