The progress I see after each training session is nothing short of incredible! That being said, this isn't some sort of magical school where you can spend an hour and your dog will magically obey your every command(those don't exist). You have to put in the time and effort to achieve those results, but Positive Dog and the training team will give you the tools and feedback necessary to be well on your way to an obedient pupper. I have two Aussies that have never been through any formal training prior to Positive Dog. I read books and tried training them myself but didn't get the results I wanted, so that's when I found Positive Dog Training School. We started seeing Shea for private lessons and I immediately saw the value in formal training. Shea is an incredible trainer who can quickly assess your dog's proficiency and help you through the crawl, walk, run phases. We eventually got the green light to move into Obedience I, which is a group environment taught by Mitzi, Shea and the Positive Dog team. We had learned the core skills from Shea during the private lessons but the group sessions tested and refined those skills even further. I can not say enough about the professionalism and expertise of each of the trainers and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with my dogs and the Positive Dog team!

We had multiple sessions with Shae. We are very happy with the progress our dog has made. Shae is knowledgeable, affordable, reasonable, and teaches us skills that are customed to our needs. Our dog is 13months old Ridgeback and GSP mix. She is extremely energetic which came with extensive leash pulling and guarding us from strangers by barking loud. After few sessions, we already feel comfortable walking our dog without battling with her pulling and are confident that we can make her quiet from barking! It's all under control now. Happy customers, happy dogs! 🐶

I cant speak highly enough about the work that Mitzi and Shea have done for my dog and I. I have gone to dozens of trainers and none of them are even comparable to this school. The classes are affordable and well worth your time and money. They specialize in herding dogs and my mini Aussie has been nothing short of a piece of work but they are super patient with him and know exactly what works best for his breed. I can call Shea anytime and he is beyond helpful.

Wow what can I say about Shea other than he went above and beyond any expectations I had for training my dog. If you are looking to positive train your dog I highly recommend this place and have been referring a bunch of people to them! Positive dog training school is definitely the way to go!
