Booked here by mistake. Choice hotels should be ashamed to put their logo on this hotel. Built in the 70s and it shows its age. Poor lighting in lot, dark hallways. Smells like a dungeon.Analog tv channels.Pool is full of algae. This place needs a good bulldozer. I would not stay here unless you have a strong immune system.

Pathetic. Best word to describe our experience. DO NOT STAY HERE !! It took us over 45 minutes to check into our room after looking at 5 unacceptable rooms. Our first room had the wrong size bed. We went back to the front desk. The second room did not have a heater or phone that worked. It was 0C (32F) outside. A heater was a must. So we walked back to the front desk. 3rd room we were assigned had a broken TV. We walked back to the front desk- yet again. Was this some kind of joke ??? Impractical Jokers perhaps? Nope. Just a living nightmare. 4th room we were assigned was unclean. Had an unmade bed, used shower and empty pizza box. Gross. We walked back to the front desk. The female attendant walked us to our 5th assigned room and tried to give us a room beside 4 young males who were watching TV full blast and drinking. Hell no - we were not accepting that considering the place was less than 5% occupied. Our 6th and final room was a room on the 2nd floor. After our exhaustion we accepted it with ripped curtains and torn wallpaper. We found out there was no free breakfast as noted in the description. The lady front attendant said it was closed due to covid restrictions. She had zero customer service skills and must have been her first day. There was no manager on duty. This place was a seedy DIVE. When we woke up early the next morning there was a bug on the ceiling to greet us. Photos taken and will be attached. RUN !!! Do NOT book a room here under any circumstances. Why did we stay here ?? Well After 10 hours of driving our sheer exhaustion took over. Never again. It was nothing short of Pathetic.

Staff were nice, but the facility is being renovated and unsuitable for a stay at this point. Room was clean but furnishings are sparse. Asked staffer for an extra pillow and was told that they didn't have any. Not enough towels for two in the room... Asked for a towel and was given a dish towel and a small washcloth. No breakfast at this point in the remodel. Room was fairly clean, but bathroom outdated. Mattress should be removed and replaced. Sagged and squeaked.

If any film makers are looking to make a film noir or a low budget horror movie, I'd highly suggest visiting this place. You start off by driving up a windy slick road to an unlit hotel sign. The place is managed by a very friendly couple, which is possibly the best thing about the hotel. The hotel also has an abandoned bar area, similar to the one in The Shining. The hotel was very empty, yet somehow wreaked of weed, maybe from the Ghost of Snoop D which possibly haunts the establishment. They don't serve breakfast due to the pandemic, which seems laughable since everyone else serves it. They also charge $20 for pets, which is common amongst many hotel chains. There was a blood stain on the bed, a dirty hand towel behind the bed, and NO HOT WATER! And this is coming from a Northerner where people swim in outdoor pools when it is 55F and up outside. At $70/night (including pet few), I'd highly suggest staying at a Motel 6(which has been cleaner, in my experience). Clean sheets and hot water is vital to receive anything over a 1 star.
