You get what you pay for. The students here seem less mature and respectful than at other beauty schools that I have been a customer of. The entire scene seems like a high-school class. The student today was bad-mouthing her instructor, and was doing an altogether poor job. The teacher had to come over and fix my hair, which meant she had to re-do the entire cut. I won't go back. Spend extra money and get the care, responsibility, and maturity at the Aveda Institute downtown.

It's a school! You have to understand there learning! When you sign in you are signing a dorm that says you understand that! You can't expect us to pull of miracle when you come in we are learning! I love all my clients and I try my best! I will try my hardest to have you leave with a smile on your face :) we understand most of the time you come in with an idea and you know exactly what you want but that might look different on you. The pictures are of other people with different hair. They might have a completely different hair type then yours so it won't look the same on you. I will try my hardest though and that's what counts.

My daughter got her hair deep-conditioned and straightened with a styling. It was super great! However, I must've had someone who was doing their very first haircut and was not confident at all. She kept asking me when she cut something how it was and the cut was horrible! Very uneven in several spots. I have my ears cut out and the instructor did one and she did the other. She ruined it. The instructor barely checked it. I would not let her touch my hair again. In my opinion, the instructor was lacking in her job. It is her job to check the haircut. Had she done that, she would have seen and given her feedback on how to do it correctly. Very disappointed indeed.
