My experience with Attorney Chris Hueneke was OUTSTANDING! I needed help to resolve an estate probate case for my Father-in-Law. Chris met with us and provided an easy path to resolve all the required paperwork, financial obligations, court filings, bond issues, court appearances and worked to ensure I was always informed and assisted in any obligation I had to do. Being a Personal Representative after a death is a large task and responsibility, I'm thankful for Chris and his Team for getting the results we achieved. He made a genuine impression of helpfulness and caring along with a personality that made him easy to work with. Our family is very thankful we had him on our side. Joe P.

I retained Chris Hueneke in 2015 when my wife divorced me. What a mistake!! Although he promised to advocate on my behalf, he really did nothing except push some paperwork. When it came to a property settlement, I showed him two estimates where people actually visited my home, measured each room, and looked for anything that would reduce the value of the home and property. One estimate was for $145,000 and the other was for $150,000. My wife had one estimate from someone in Minnesota who never visited. Her estimate was for $110,000. I presented my estimates to Mr. Hueneke. In addition, I proposed a property settlement to counter what my wife proposal.. Mr. Hueneke looked at it and, essentially, threw it away. At the court hearing, Mr. Hueneke sat at the table and said nothing. The judge accepted my wife's property settlement and Mr. Hueneke never shown the two estimates I had. I found Mr. Hueneke to be untruthful. His only concern was getting the retainer fee and, afterward, charging an additional $700 for doing nothing. I came away from the experience wondering how Mr. Hueneke earned his law degree because he seemed so incompetent.

Only thing I'm not charged for...is breathing oxygen their office. $3,700 for school book divorce (easiest ever) I'm afraid even to think of how much would they charge me if I disagreed with my (now ex) wife on anything...They did finish the job but they are $$$$

I retained Chris Hueneke to represent me in a divorce and he did absolutely nothing. His office website is nothing more than a bunch of lies. During the trial, Hueneke did not advocate for me even when he promised to. At the end of the trial, I asked him why he didnt say anything and why he did not advocate on my behalf, and all he did was shrug his shoulders and said nothing. Take my adviceHueneke wants nothing more than your money and in return, youll get nothing in return. To top it off, after paying a retainer of $2500, Hueneke had the gall to bill me for an additional $700. If you need a lawyer, do not go to Chris Hueneke.

My experience with attorney Chris Hueneke was put to the test with my parents estate. It was in disarray but Chris Hueneke kept a clear head and kept focused to the end. Through it all, I felt Chris had my whole family's interests protected. I highly recommend Chris for any matters and will use his services again.

About
Magner & Hueneke, LLP
Most legal situations have a desired outcome. While our firm certainly works toward that ultimate end, we also take into consideration the long-term implications of the current decisions that are made regarding a case. In divorce proceedings, we encourage clients to consider what their futures hold after a divorce. What child custody arrangements will be best for your children? For consumers who have been victims of deceptive sales practices, we proceed towards outcomes that offer immediate protection as well as compensation for their troubles. In our criminal law practice, we build strong defenses on behalf of our clients, striving to minimize the consequences and the impact a drunk driving arrest or other charges may have on a person’s life. For those who have sustained injuries in car accidents, we do not settle too quickly. Our estate planning and probate attorneys consider each of our clients’ unique needs and strive to develop estate plans, as well as handle probate matters in the way that fits each client best. With all this in mind, we believe we take important steps everyday toward protecting our clients’ futures.
